イー・ガーディアンが今開発に取り組んでいる「自動識別型 画像フィルタリングシステムの研究」を
海外メディアにも紹介したいと思い、アメリカのプレスリリース配信サイトPRwebを利用して
英文プレスリリース出しました。

PRwebとは

・ウェブ完結型で手軽・安価
・主要なサーチエンジンへ配信（Google, Yahoo, Bingなど）
・30,000件（ジャーナリストとブロガーへ配信）
・250,000件（新聞とPRWebのニュース購読者へ配信）
・月/300万の訪問者が訪れるPRWebのニュースリリースにも掲載。

もちろん日本語版プレスリリースを英語に訳すのは大変ですが、
その後PRWebに掲載する流れが今まで使っていた日本のプレスリリースと少し勝手が違かったので、
紹介したく思います。

■ 登録情報のverification（確認）が必要

①e-mailアドレスを2つ入力するのですが、その2つともPRwebさんから届いたメールをクリックして確認する必要があります。

②会社HP　10分から翌営業日以内に、PRwebさんからメールで
「あなたの登録したHPは確認済みです」とメールがきます。

③会社電話番号

登録すると、3分以内に電話がなりました。
すると英語の音声で「Please press verification number」（確認の番号を押してください）と流れます。
そこでe-mailで届いた番号を入力する必要があります。
登録後は内線番号を登録するか、会社のメインの番号にかかってくる電話は、一生懸命自分で出る、もしくは電話に出てくれそうな方へ、英語の音声が流れてくる電話は、いたずら電話ではないという旨を伝える必要がありますね。

■配信される前にPRweb側から内容へのチェックが入る

恥ずかしいですが、指摘を受けた内容を公開します。

１つ目は、下記のようにhtmlは使えないから、【】等の記号も全て消して、という指摘です。

Your press release contains non-standard characters, html formatting, tables, forced line breaks or is written partially or entirely in ALL CAPS. Please remove/correct these characters or use the proper case. If your press release contains a table, which will not format correctly, we recommend attaching the information as an image or other file type for best results.

２つ目は、文法が間違っている場所があるから(恥) 、直してもう一度送ってください（どう直せばいいのかは教えてくれません）という指摘です。

Review your release thoroughly for grammatical errors, such as in the following examples:

■再投稿の後にすること

下記にメールのひな型を送ってくれるので、ひな型の ________,の部分を入力しコピペして返信しましょう。

・誰が
・どのプレスリリースで
・どこを直したか

を書けばOKです。

難しいことではないのですが、見落としてしまう可能性がありますよね。
